• Make an attractive, colorful paper strings cut from the multicolored craft papers and hang through ceiling and walls.

• In a corner make a play area for games like for a ludo, carom, snakes and ladder etc.
• Start the party by singing National Anthem.
• Select  some kiddish designed  pattern paper plates, paper napkins, cups, table covers etc for the party
• For snacks you can have sandwiches, cookies, brownies, home made biscuits and potato chips, cakes, fruit platters, different color drinks, some ice cream candies, popcorn etc.

Dress code

• The ideal dress code would be any dress related to school uniform i.e. check or plain shirt with white salwar, two ponytails with ribbon or hair band and a belt
• You  can also dress up as your  favorite character you want to be in your life  from your childhood for ex. Nurse, teacher, lawyer etc.  or can dress up as your favorite cartoon character..

How To Play

• Give paper and pencil to everyone with  30 small empty squares in them just like bingo ticket.
• Let everyone write any 15 names of Maa Durga of their choice in the chit(5 in each line)and keep the remaining squares blank.
• The organizer then goes around the  players  and tell them to pick one chit from the bowl.
• He then announces the name written on that chit  and the players who has that name  on their sheet can  strike it off as well as the organizer has to strike that name from the list of names  for verifying.
• Game ends when early 5, corners, all the rows and full houses are claimed.

• Make slips from No 1 to 100 and put them in the bowl.
• Since this game is to be played during Navratri so No. 9 is very important because we worship nine forms of Durga
• All the players should sit in a circle.
• The game is to be played just like passing the parcel.
• Put on some music and start passing the bowl.
• As the music stops, the player who is holding  that bowl will take out one slip.
• If the no. is having 9 in it (for ex. Nos. can be 9,19,29,39,49,59,69,79,89,90 to 99) means that player is SAFE and can continue the game.
• if it is not 9 i.e  the above mentioned nos. than  that player is OUT.

Write Happy ‘Navratri or Jai Mata Ki in one minute’. Put two slips with +(plus) and – (minus) signs in a bowl. How To Play

• Give paper and pencil to everyone with 30 small empty squares in them just like bingo ticket.
• Now ask them to write 15 names (5 in each line) with whom either they call their husband or they have heard their friends calling their husband for eg.Sweetheart, Prince Charming, Rockstar, Romeo, Tiger, Angel, Baby, Bad boy, Big guy, Cutie pie, Darling,  Dear heart, Handsome, Heart throb, Hero, Honey, Honey buns, Ice man, Iron man, Lover, Lovey, Mr. Perfect, Mr. Right, Mr. Cool, My Dear Boy, My Love, Sweety Boy etc.
• Then ask the participants to write the names which they have written on their tambola ticket on small chits and hand it over to caller.
• After getting all the chits from all the participants put them in the bowl and mix it.
• Start drawing the chits from the bowl and call out the name.
• Caller is supposed to write on a piece of paper all the names which is calling out for verification.
• Those who are having that particular name can strike it on their tambola ticket.
• Game ends when all the prizes are successfully claimed.

There is  a probability that lot of duplicate names chits in the bowl so in that case if that name has already been cut, ignore that chit  and draw the next chit.

Write 15  hubby pet names in jumbled way on a paper for ex. Honey-yneho, Jannu-uanjn, Darling-ngilrda, Pritam-tmairp etc.  The one writes the maximum correct names in one minute wins.

2. Dice And Nail Polish

All the players should sit in a circle and any one can start the game. Give one dice and nail polish to the player. The game is that they have to roll the dice and as per the rolled no. they have to play. If the player gets any no from 1-4 for eg. 3 than the player sitting third from the  left has to apply nail polish on one of the fingers for 5 and 6 the player who has rolled the dice  has to apply nail polish on their own finger. The player who is able to apply nail polish on all the five fingers at the earliest wins.

3.Guess your ring

Collect either the wedding rings or any ring worn all the ladies. Mix them and place them in a tray. Blindfold the player and ask here to recognize her ring by touching.  Time limit 30 seconds.  If the spouses are there in the party then this game can be played the other way all the women will find their husband’s ring and husband’s will find their wife’s ring blind folded.

4.Bottle And Bangles

Take a small bottle or any round thing. The players have to roll the dice six times.  In the first four times the player has to put the bangles around the bottle according to the no. she has rolled and in the last two chances she has to take out the bangles according to the no.  The player who is left with maximum no. of bangles around the bottle is the winner.

5.Husband Name On Hand

Give one white sheet and one pen to all the ladies. They have to make a sketch of their hand on it. They have to write the name of their husband as many times as they can in one minute.

1.Halloween Musical Walk

Draw a big circle on the floor. Now either paste the picture of any Halloween character like mummy, full moon, bat, devil, ghost, pumpkin, spider, witch etc. or draw it on the floor.  All the players will stand around the circle. Blindfold all the players.  As the music starts, everybody will start walking in the circle  around the picture just like musical chair.  As the music stops, the players standing on the picture are out the game. Rest of the players can resume the game. The player who remains till the end wins

Take 6 old empty tins  filled with surprises for eg. candies, chocolates etc. Decorate them and use them as your pins. Take three small pumpkins and use them as bowling balls. The game is to be played either in pairs or with couples.  As the time starts, one player will shuffle the cards and take out one card and will announce the no. and immediately the second player will call out the name of the month for ex. if it is 4 the player will say April, for 6 June etc. Time limit is one minute. The player who speaks maximum correct months wins.

5.Gulam Begum Badshah

Make three slips and write Gulam(11), Begum(12) Badshah(13). Fold them and put it in bowl.  The player will pick one slip from the bowl .  According to the slip. the player has to make sets from the pack of cards for eg. if it is Begum(12)  6+6, 6+5+1, 8+4, 10+1+1, 7+5 etc. The player can make as many sets as possible in one minute. The player who makes maximum sets wins.

• Resume the music and after regular intervals host will keep on announcing the names either 4 or 3 or 2 names and so on till one guest is left.
• That guest  will become Santa and who in turn will wear Santa’s dress and will give the gifts and chocolates to all the children in the party.

How To Play

• Make small chits of missing words of the above idioms.
• Keep them in a bowl.
• Every player has to  take one chit from the bowl  and pin it on their dress.
• Give one sheet and pen to each player.
• They have to complete the idioms by filling the names of the players who have pinned the correct answers
• For eg. __________ke muh me jira the answer will be Meera ke muh me jira instead of Unt Ke muh me jira
• Kala akshar _________baraabar the answer will Kala akshar Preeti baraabar instead of Kala akshar bhains baraabar etc.
• Time limit one minute.

The player who writes the maximum correct answers wins !!

Things Required

• A bag full of small stuffed soft toys including 5-6 small stuffed Santa’s
• Small Christmas gifts, stuffed toys, bells, small caps, gloves stockings. stars etc.

How To Play

• Put all the above things  in a bag.
• All the players will sit in a circle and will start the game by passing the bag.
• Every participant has to put their hands in the bag and bring out a handful of toys and put it in the bowl.
• Count no. of Santa’s in the bowl  and note it down.
• After counting the Santa’s put all the toys back in the bag.
• Shake the bag and give it to next player.

Winner

• The player who has drawn out maximum Santa’s wins.

1.Christmas Card Partners

Take old Christmas cards and cut them in half.  Mix all the halves in a basket and keep them in the centre of the party hall. After all the guests arrived, ask each one to take one card from the basket and find your partner who is holding the other half card.  The first three pairs of guests who brings their completed cards are the winners.

2.Pair Gift wrap

Divide the guests into pairs. Tie the right hand of the left person and left hand of the right person. Each pair will  be given a box, wrapping paper, scissor, tape and ribbon.  The pair with only one hand each  has to wrap the box using all the things.  The pair who is able to wrap neatly at the earliest wins.

3.Christmas Memory Game

Keep 15-20 items related to Christmas for eg. cake, cookies, ribbons, small balls, bells, small wine bottles, x’mas tree, a snowman, santa hat, gloves etc.  and keep it on the table for 30 sec.  Pass paper and pen to all the players. Now the players have to write as many things they remember in one minute.

4.Blindfold Christmas Drawing

Give paper plates and pen to every player. Blindfold all the players. Let any one person can give instructions for the drawing for eg. Draw a Christmas tree, draw a star at one corner and two bells, draw two gifts under the tree etc After everyone finishes drawing, they can have a look at their masterpieces. Gifts can be given for the most creative drawing, funny drawing, ugly drawing etc.

5.Balls In Santa’s Cap

Hang Santa’s cap upside down. Mark a line say 3 feet from the cap.  Players have to throw small ping pong balls in the cap in one minute.  The player who is able to put maximum balls in the cap wins.

6.Mystery Stocking

Take an oversized stocking and fill it with some Christmas objects like candy treats, balls, stars,  santa’s gloves, scarf, buntings, small stuffed santa’s etc.  and tie a ribbon around the top so that nobody can see inside. Pass on this mystery stocking to everyone to have a guess. The players can touch, feel, smell the contents in it.  Give all the players pen and paper and tell them to write their guesses in one minute. The player who has written maximum correct things wins.

7,Dress Up Like Santa

Divide the players into groups. Give one oversized dress of Santa including cap, gloves, belt, socks and shoes to each group.  The game is that everyone in the group has to dress up like Santa turn by turn. The first player will dress up using all the things given to them as Santa and then he will remove Santa’s dress as fast as he can so that the next player can start dressing up and so on till the last player dresses up.  The group who completes their task at the earliest wins.

8. Merry Christmas

Make 20 slips with ‘Merry Christmas’  written on it and 40 blank slips.  Fold them properly and put it in a bowl.  The players have to open as many slips and he can in one minute.  Count the slips with Merry Christmas and make a note of it.  Now fold the slips, mix them and put them in the bowl for the other player to play.  The player with maximum ‘Merry Christmas’ chits wins.
